Bounce Noosa

A truly bizarre hostel stay. I have stayed in several hostels over the years, and I must say that this experience ranks amongst the worst. While the hostel itself is a nice building in a decent location for Noosa, the service and energy within the walls of Bounce hostel is awful. First of all, definitely do not stay here if you are over 25. This hostel is both operated and inhabited by kids on tour. It genuinely seems as though the management have cultivated some kind of weird youth club vibe where all the guests are being held against their will in a social experiment of sorts. Nobody speaks to each other, and conversing out loud in the common areas after 11pm is strictly prohibited. On my first night here I was told to get off the phone in the living room area at 10:45pm whilst in the middle of a call. There is also a lovely sitting room with a TV that is only available to patrons until 8pm, at which point the staff lock the doors and seemingly take over the area for themselves whilst everyone else looks in from the outside. On top of that, the bar shuts ridiculously early (9pm when I was there) and you are lambasted if you attempt to bring any drink of your own onto the premises. I can't believe I was initially excited to stay at this hostel prior to my visit to Noosa. Some of the online material is highly misleading. Trust me, if you wish to visit beautiful Noosa - look elsewhere for your accommodation and thank me later.

This hostel is a true hidden gem! The pool and deck are amazing, the kitchen is top-notch, and everything's impeccably clean. The comfy dorms with individual lights and plugs were a great surprise. The hosted activities, like cheese & wine nights and beer pong, were a blast and allowed me to connect with a lot of fellow travelers. The staff were super friendly and went the extra mile to make my stay even better. I'd absolutely return and highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed my stay at bounce, Noosa. The rooms are stunning! The communal areas are always kept clean and the pool bar is great. There are events on every night which were brilliant. The location is good as it is walking distance from the river where you can hire boats and enjoy sunset. There is also a free shuttle service supplied by the hostel where the staff are very friendly! Public transport is also very accessible around the hostel. Over all best hostel I’ve stayed at on the east coast!

Absolutely incredible Hostel. I only choose Bounce when I go to Noosa. I’ve gone as a solo traveler, with friends and recently with my partner and it’s always the best place to stay. So clean and beautiful! Kitchen is fully equipped and clean, the bathrooms and showers are great and the pool / bar area is awesome with great vibes, but also offer a chilling area indoors. They run a shuttle to the beach and town which makes it super easy and it’s just across the road from the supermarket. They also have daily events and deals! (And shout to the kitchen staff cause the $10 burger deal actually blew my mind). Would definitely recommend.
